Taneasha Prunty, Gidi
After studying Finance at UIC, Taneasha decided to pursue her lifelong passion of designing eveningwear for sophisticated women. Her belief that all women should own timeless pieces that transcend seasons and trends is what inspired her to develop a line that displays what she calls “relaxed couture.” Her aesthetic is to blend vintage sophistication with modern flair giving everyone that wears her garments a subtle allure that makes them unforgettable.

Concetta Cipriano, Cettina
Born and raised in Chicago, Concetta Cipriano has always loved the art of design. The idea that a simple sheet of fabric can be completely transformed into a work of art is something that has always fascinated her. With each piece created, Concetta strives to balance femininity with structure, strength with beauty, and intricacy with simplicity- the same elements that embody the women she designs for.

Crystal Simms, Crystal B. Designs
Crystal Simms began her career in fashion design after graduating from The International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago, IL. After working for a prestigious Chicago based couture house, Crystal Simms gave birth to her own line, Crystal B. Designs. Crystal B. Designs fuses architectural form with the female silhouette to positively enhance the features of the female figure.

Eric Kipp, Eric Kipp Custom Clothiers
A modern perspective to classic menswear with a commitment to quality and U.S. manufacturing, Eric’s line focuses on sharply tailored suits and separates that easily transition from office to evening. Eric is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. His extensive experience in a wide range of menswear was a platform for launching his custom tailored clothing company in Chicago.

Kahindo Mateene, Modahnik
A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Art – Fashion Design Program, she is influenced by the dichotomy of her vibrant African heritage fused with western design sensibilities. The brightly colorful African print is the signature of Modahnik, the designs are modern, feminine and visually appealing with an underlying sexiness. Modahnik has a socially conscious mission at its core, to produce in Africa using fair trade practices.
